The Lady Mahira khan was born on 21st December 1982 and is 31 year of age now. Her full name is Mahira Hafez Khan. She was born in Pakistan and completed her matriculation from Foundation Public School.At the age of 17, she moved to California with her family where she pursued her studies. She studied there in the University of Southern California and stayed there for almost three to four years. However, she could not continue her studies over there and moved back to Pakistani in 2008.
The Current Career:
Other than hosting on TV the gorgeous lady started appearing in the television advertisements that got her more fame. After that she appeared in the drama serial ‘Humsafar’ opposite the actor Fawad khan which was aired on Hum TV in the year 2011. The drama serial was a mega hit. She hosted the Lux style awards the biggest award ceremony of Pakistan in the year 2011 with Faizan Haque.
Later on, she appeared in the hit film Bol directed by Shoib Mansoor in the year 2011 as well. Her role in the film was a smaller one but was appreciated well in the film. The she also acted in the drama serial Neeyat in the year 2011. In the year 2012, she acted in the serial named Sher e Zaat opposite Meekal Zulfiqar. This drama serial had a spiritual touch to it and it became an instant hit too.
Awards and Achievements:
Mahira Khan received the awards for best actor, best onscreen couple in the drama serial Humsafar in the year 2011. She was nominated for both these categories and won them all. The drama had the highest rating of 9.7 that was a record for any Pakistani drama. In the year 2012, she was named as the most beautiful Women of Pakistan too. She had also won awards for best actor, incredible actor, in the year 2012 as well.
Recent Works:
Mahira had been working on various projects in the year 2012 and 2013. It is expected that she would be seen in many drama serials in the following year too. She has completed her project ‘Bin Rote Ensue’ and others in the recent year.
Currently, she is hosting a talk show on Geo by the name "Tuc the Lighter Side of Life" in which she is conducting the light heart interviews of many celebrities belongs to Pakistani industry. Moreover it is also in the air that she will be seen starring opposite Ranveer Singh in her upcoming Indian movie under the banner of Yash Raj Film.
