Yahoo New Announcement to Remove Facebook and Google Log-Ins from Flickr
Yahoo New Announcement to Remove Facebook and Google Log-Ins from Flickr is new announcement of yahoo. How comfortable it feels when you get connected securely to any website’s portal, whether it’s of job registration, any online sports, news or admissions, by using your Log-in-via-Facebook button provided by that specific portal. Yahoo seems to have no feelings for its users to provide ease as they asked Flickr to remove Facebook and Google log-in buttons from its interface.
Yahoo informed the Flickr users by sending an email stating that Facebook and Google ids will no longer be accepted after 30th of June 2014. Flickr subscribers are subjected to log-in to photo site by using Yahoo account.
Yahoo’s Chief Executive, Marissa Mayer marked this decision, who was determined to inject new interest in company’s web products to generate more revenue and to generate their own user base. It seems that they are determined to compete with Google and Facebook in data mining.
“Yahoo is continually working on improving the user experience,” the company said in a statement, noting that the new process “will allow us to offer the best personalized experience to everyone”.
