Tena Durrani’s collection for PBCW, incorporated silk, net, brocade, organza and velvet, with Wedgewood blues, watermelon, garnets and fucias all woven in meticulously, seeking to bring Durrani’s vision to life. This time her Spring/Summer 2014 collection focused on our traditional weddings, reflecting grand, larger than life wedding dresses and presented a collection to give brides a dream to cherish. The attires in the segment were presented in silks, nets, brocade, organza and velvet, which were seen in hues of Wedgewood blues, watermelon, garnets and fuchsias. The outfits were mostly done in pastel tones, infused with subtle elements of comparatively darker tones.The peach outfit was the show’s limelight which was delicately done and everything was woven in carefully. The entire capsule brings Durrani’s vision to life showing a tinge of machine embroidery and embellishments in the collection. The show was produced by the in-house team of HUM Network, choreographed by the designer and choreographer extraordinaire HSY. The make-up and styling was done by Saba Ansari and her team at Sabs.
